Established in 1980 as a member of Ranjanas group, Duro Pipe Industrial (Pvt.) Ltd, (DPIL) commenced manufacturing and distribution of water Pipes and Fittings, Electrical Conduit, Solvent Cement, pipes and fittings for rain water and soil waste management under the brand name "Duro".

In 2016, with the intention of expanding the business Ranjanas group came to partnership with the Mutual Holdings Ltd. (MHL), an investment company in Sri Lanka, in the fields of finance, real estate, travel & tourism and construction. Currently MHL holding 75% of the stake of the company while balance 25% remains with the Ranjanas Group. This synergy of professionalism and experience will bring company to the highest level in the industry.

DPIL is the sister company of Kanrich Finance Ltd., Classic Lands (Pvt) Limited, M Travels Pvt. Ltd., Hands Global Pvt. Ltd., Mutual Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd. and Mutual Engineering Services Pvt. Ltd.
